loudlabs.com RIVERSIDE - On Sunday evening December 3rd roughly 15 police units from the Riverside Police Department along with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a shooting in the Santa Ana River bottom.The shooting was reported around 5:00pm in the river bottom below the Van Buren Blvd. over cross. Police were able to locate a male adult suffering from a gun shot wound in a homeless encampment area surrounded by thick brush. Details surrounding the shooting are limited however, unconfirmed reports, a private bail agent shot the male. It's unclear what exactly led to the shooting. The male was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Police at the scene have declined to comment at this time.
