Two more tigers dead in Ranthambore National Park

On one hand when initiatives are being carried out to protect tigers under various programmes like Project Tiger, regular news of tiger death from various parts in the country is quite depressing. The recent one has been reported from  the Ranthambore National Park where two tigers were found dead. However, forest officials are suspecting that the tigers got killed in a territorial fight with another tiger. The tigers aged year-and-a-half were litter of tigress T-79 and were found dead at Swai Man Singh Sanctuary.  Postmortem of the tigers will be conducted today to find the exact cause of the death.

On March 20, a four-year-old male tiger from Sariska, ST-11, got strangulated

On March 21, another male tiger died in Ranthambore
