Hottest day ever in Melbourne's history. 46.4 C and we had a fire 150 Metres from our house. Info Below. This is the house that we called in on. Pretty scary. The fire caught hold of the fence and a small garden shed at the back of his house. What we did (neighbours and owner) definately helped to quell the fire, before the firey's rolled up. We were taking turns to extinguish what we could. Buckets, hoses, you name it. I was taking a breather at this stage. Firey's had just rolled up at the time of this vid, within seconds. So very close to catching the house. Shed was 1 metre away from the house, Fence behind the shed was on fire.
