A sample-by-sample power integration of the Rosemary Ainslie COP 17 circuit using the Tektronix TDS3054C, which captures 10,000 samples per channel across three channels. The waveform is exported and each sample's instantaneous wattage computed against the battery voltage at that moment, then averaged over 5,880 samples: the 555 timer comes out at minus 0.06578 W, the load at minus 0.0682 W, minus 0.13406 W in total. Temperatures are read at the same time, with the load and the 1 ohm resistor both sitting 0.8 C below a 25 C ambient while the timer feed resistor runs 8 C above it.
