Loughor update including Rare Freightliner Shed at Llandeilo Jnc 18/11/2012

On a beautiful morning, I was able to capture the rare sight of a Freightliner Shed 66508 working a service to Crewe from Llandeilo Jnc. The train had been stationed at Duffryn at night in conjunction with engineering work near to Loughor Bridge. We then move to the bridge itself where further sections have been added to the new structure, and the completed bridge will soon be in place. I've also shown the development of the trackbed to carry the re-instated down line over Loughor Bridge to Duffryn to the East of Lllandeilo Jnc. Finally to Gowerton Station where there have been many changes since my last visit. The old up platform has now been cleared, and the base for the new track is taking shape. Things are moving at a pace along this section of line, and I will hopefully be able to upload further reports as they happen....
