DRS 37194 Top n'Tail with 37261 Crewe to Landore 24/06/2013

I was lucky with the weather today, as I went out to capture the second batch of DRS Class 37's to work into Carmarthenshire in two weeks. 37194 (which I saw at Llanelly shed in April 1964) and 37261 worked the 1Q13 07.10 Crewe C.S.(L&NWR Site) to Landore T.M.D.Swansea via the Heart of Wales Line. In the first clip we see it arrive at the peaceful station at Llandeilo, where it makes a spirited departure in glorious sunshine. The next clip shows the train at Llandeilo Jnc, some 15 miles from Llandeilo as it joins the South Wales Main line from Swansea, and crosses onto the down loop. Finally we see the train run into Llanelli, for a crew change before making another spirited departure for Swansea via Loughor and Gowerton.
