In this video, we see preparation taking place on the 28th October 2011 at The Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway, at Cynheidre in Carmarthenshire for the naming of the resident 1965 built Sentinel Diesel Locomotive to 'Peter J Griffiths' on Saturday 29th October 2011. The locomotive had been given a complete face lift into the Hanson Group livery, and the naming ceremony in the presence of invited dignitaries, the railway's volunteers and the Guests of Honor Peter and Yvonne Griffiths. After a gloriously sunny Friday, it was disappointing that the heavens opened up on the Saturday, but this didn't dampen the occasion, and a good time was had by all. *** It may be necessary to increase the volume to hear the speeches in the video ***
