In Michigan, chances are that when you've driven over a bridge, you've been on a project that Mr. Josesph Malloure helped build.

Following graduation, Mr. Malloure began his career in the construction industry with Bechtel Corporation. Among his first projects was the complex METRO subway system in Washington, DC. That experience served him in good stead when he joined his father Don's highway contracting firm, C.A. Hull Company, which specializes in bridge construction. Don also earned his civil engineering degree at Michigan.

Initially, Mr. Malloure served as a site surveyor. As he gained experience, he took on positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately being named President. He is now the Chairman of the company. He has also been active in industry affairs, serving as President of the Michigan Road Builders Association.  
 
And Mr. Malloure's family is a true Michigan family. Besides his father, two brothers also graduated with civil engineering degrees, and two of his sons are Michigan graduates as well: one in civil engineering and another from Taubman College. His sister holds a business degree from Michigan.
