We had a fantastic time visiting family, going on the cruise, and finding adventure in Seattle, but there really is no place like home.

The flight was an overnighter (red eye) that took us through LAX -- this place was nutso!  They had all kinds of construction going on and it took forever to get to our gate.  Then, the gate had no attendants, thought we were at the wrong gate, and we still had to try to get our kids next to us, as we were spread out all over the plane!  To top it off, my son decided he needed to use the restroom as soon as we got to the gate -- and the bathroom was nearly back at our arrival gate due to the construction.....

It all worked out in the end (it always does) and the kids sat next to Mommy on the way home (I offered to take them) and Daddy sat next to two strangers...

I wasn't nearly as tired when we arrived in Orlando the next morning as I thought I'd be...that's OK, it hit me later. :)
