Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.

Ingredients:
250g Asparagus (cut in 5cm in length diagonally)
150g Beansprouts
1 Red Chilli Pepper (cut into thin threads)
10g Ginger (thinly sliced & then cut into thin threads)
3 Cloves Garlic (thinly sliced)
1 Spring Onion (roughly chopped)
2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
Salt to Taste

Method:
 1. Heat 2 Tbsp of oil in a wok over high heat
 2. Place the ginger, garlic and chilli in the wok and stir-fry for 10 seconds
 3. Add the spring onion, stir-fry for few seconds
 4. Add the asparagus and stir-fry for 2 minutes
 5. Add the beansprouts, stir-fry for a minute
 6. Add the soy sauce and a pinch of salt then stir
 7. Transfer onto a dish and serve with rice or noodles
