HYDE PARK, Ohio (WKRC) - The spirit of giving is in full force in Hyde Park. Volunteers with the Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church are putting together Thanksgiving baskets to hand out to families in need. The 552 baskets include a turkey and all the fixings along with some food for a few days after the holiday. Members of that church made all this all possible. "Then we buy the food in bulk... and we set up an assembly line and then the food is boxed… and then some of it goes to individuals (that’s about 150) and the rest goes to agencies and other agencies and they distribute it in other neighborhoods as well,” said Herald and Susan Crossland of the Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church. The church has been putting these baskets together since 1991.
