SAN PEDRO -
Firefighters responded to reports of two victims down the side of a cliff in Sunken City, a publicly-closed section of Point Fermin Park. They found an unknown male and an injured 19 year-old female, both more than 60 feet down the cliff. A rescue with USAR took place, as LAFD helicopters and boats were on standby. The male was brought up and released on-scene, while the female was brought up in a basket and transported via ambulance to an area hospital. Despite Sunken City being a closed area, nobody was arrested or charged.
