Gate resistance on the Rosemary Ainslie circuit is swept across its full range, roughly 5 ohms up to about 5K, while the load waveform is watched. Amplitude does not fall steadily with rising resistance: in a band estimated on camera at a couple of hundred ohms to about 1K it climbs while the resistance is still increasing. The same non-monotonic behaviour is then shown on the off-time and on-time pots.
