Local FedEx employee accused of pawning jewelry shipments instead of delivering them

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A FedEx employee is accused of pawning nearly $36,000 worth of shipments instead of delivering them to the jeweler. Terry Hagood pleaded not guilty to two counts of theft Tuesday.

According to court papers, Hagood failed to deliver a more than $14,000 shipment to Quality Gold on Sept. 18. On that same day, Hagood allegedly took the jewelry to Queen City Pawn and sold it for $3,000.

On Sept. 24, court papers indicate he took a $21,705 shipment to Queen City Pawn instead of Quality Gold. He allegedly got $3,000 for that jewelry.

Hagood was working out of the Paddock Road Fed Ex facility.

A judge ordered him held on $2,000 bond.
