The head of Turkey's electoral body has declared the referendum results valid. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's party has succeeded, with just over 51 percent of the vote. That comes after the main opposition C-H-P called for an annulment, citing irregularities. The referendum grants sweeping powers to the president. Turkey will now move towards an executive system, which includes the scrapping of the office of the prime minister.
