Herring school in the thousands. They forage for plankton and they are food for other fish, seals, and dolphins. In the 1990's herring populations dwindled in Howe Sound. The reasons for this crash are still a mystery. In 2011 Vancouver Aquarium divers observed increasingly abundant juvenile herring in Howe Sound. There are also increased sightings of dolphins in the Sound. Music is "kevin macLeod- The Long road"
