Written by City News Service - A Los Angeles police motorcycle officer was injured this morning when his bike collided with a car in downtown Los Angeles. The collision happened at 12:05 a.m. at the intersection of Fourth and Alameda streets, said an officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Traffic Division. The officer was taken to a hospital, where his vital signs were stable, a police sergeant told a news photographer at the scene.
