A5236223 Chanel is a charming 2-month-old honey-colored spayed female Chihuahua and Dachshund (Chiweenie) Puppy brought in to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center from La Puente as a stray on November 12th. Weighing 6 lbs, Chanel is a brave little miss. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for babies like her, but while she shakes like a little leaf, she clearly loves people and will give lots of kisses when you hold her. Chanel came in with her sister Cocoa (A5236226), but can be adopted separately. With puppy basic training and lots of affection, she will grow up to be a confident, sweet companion. A5236226 Cocoa is a tender 2-month-old honey-colored spayed female Chihuahua and Dachshund (Chiweenie) Puppy brought in to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center from La Puente as a stray on November 12th. Weighing 7 lbs, Chanel is a cuddly sweetheart. She is shy and overwhelmed by the noisy shelter environment, but absolutely loves to be held and was happy to nibble on treats. Cocoa came in with her sister Chanel (A5236223), but can be adopted separately. With puppy basic training and lots of affection, we predict that this snuggle bug will really blossom and come out of her shell. It is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization working to end homelessness among companion animals by supporting shelter adoptions and spay/neuter programs. Through our Shelter Support Program, our volunteers photograph and video shelter pets to increase their chances of adoption significantly. Our volunteer Adoption Coordinators help facilitate adoptions of shelter pets. United Hope for Animals supports rescue, spay/neuter and networking of shelter pets to increase their chances of adoption. UHA is not a shelter, but supports shelters to help increase visibility of animals who might not otherwise be seen.
