The Bourne Ultimatum, The Bourne Supremacy, Bloody Sunday, United 93, and Omagh. If you have watched these movies, you would know they were Directed by Paul Greengrass. So when you hear the news that he has come out with another thriller titled 'Captain Philips' that too with a heavyweight name like Tom Hanks and with a tagline 'A True Story' - you can be assured, it will be a movie for the ages. And boy was it an amazing movie.

Truthfully, when I saw the trailer, I was indeed Skeptical about the movie. I seriously believed that directing a straight forward plot of a Ship getting hijacked by a group of Pirates and then the hero getting rescued - would be an utter disaster.

After all, how complicated can such a plot be?

And even more challenging would be the question - How do you keep an audience glued to a movie 2 hours 14 minutes long when everyone knows what the ending will be like?

But Director Paul Greengrass deserves a pat on the back. With amazingly edited script, a strong cast and fantastic dialogues, this movie seriously entertains. However, I would like to highlight the hidden heroes of this movie - who are none other than the Villains played by Barkhad Abdirahman, Faysal Ahmed, Mahat M. Ali, Omar Berdouni, Mohammed Ali and Issak Farah Samatar. Though relatively unknown by Popular Media - their presence as the Supporting Cast was what gave this movie its original flavor.

Moment of Truth
A very realistic, edge of your seat, believable plot. In short - 5 Star Entertainer.
