Ringling brothers comes to town and a handful of elephant lovers attend the pre- circus event rally-- to site the Elephant abuses Ringling Brothers has been charged with and share with the crowd the daily horrors "the world's largest land mammal's" must endure to be entertainment for the humans who purchased a ticket that evening  --Well circus attendees did not seem to mind if baby elephants are beat into submission or that these elephants are chained in box cars from town to town--  until their five minutes of show time.

 The circus attendees get increasingly more threatening as the rally goes on, so much that at one point i think we were going to be assaulted.  You can see security cares nothing about the crowd making physical threats against animal activists or were they going to stop anyone from assault. Former North West Director of Portland's " In Defense of Animals" Matt Rossell and activists are not swayed from their message.   The heat rises and we stand our ground for the elephants. For them we can take any verbal thrashing these circus clowns can dish out.
 The truth is Elephants suffer horribly in Circus transport from town to town-- they are chained in box cars for hours on end-- until their brief moments of fame --where they are forced to stand on a ball or on two legs and than back in chains in the box. "The World's Largest Land Mammals Need Space"  Ringling Brothers Circus should  take all the animals out of their shows.That will take new talent with skill.  Write of a fresh show because the old one is tired and cruel. beating an animal into submission and reward them for doing tricks is mean and so is then the endless lonely hours of confinement in a cage or a box and calling it a family event is unacceptable. 

 Please retire all of your Elephants, Tigers and Bears to sanctuaries. Retire them from their endless hours of containment to box cars in cages and in chains. Set them Free--- Give the world's largest land mammal some room, and i will come back to the Circus.
