He will be the new manager of that department, taking over the post of longtime city council employee and a staunch supporter of the United Democratic Department, Percival Murillo. Belize City Mayor Bernard Wagner says Jenkins’ transfer is part of the council’s restructuring exercise. As for Murillo, we are told that the will be dismissed. The press asked the Mayor about it today.
