INGREDIENTS:

10 bacon strips, minced
¼ cup maple syrup
1 cup unsalted butter, diced
¾ cup sugar
½ brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 ½ cups white chocolate chips

PROCEDURE:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Fry bacon bits until crisp and drain the fat.
3. Add maple syrup then stir until thickened about 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
4. Using a mixer, combine flour, sugar, brown sugar and baking soda and add butter, beating until light and fluffy, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add the egg and beat for about a minute.
5. Add vanilla extract and beat for around 30 seconds more.
6. Add bacon and white chocolate chips and fold to combine.
7. Scoop teaspoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets and bake until golden around the edges, about 8 to 10 minutes.
8. Let cookies cool for around a minute then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
