Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley says some Caribbean countries have expressed concern that Trinidad and Tobago seem to have an unfair advantage given that this country's manufacturing sector is supported by its energy industry. Dr. Rowley said this topic will be an urgent matter of discussion at the 2018 CARICOM Single Market And Economy (CSME) conference to be held in this country next week. He said the CSME two day conference which will be held in Port of Spain, will set the way forward for the manufacturing industry for the other countries. Dr Rowley said professor Julien was instrumental when this country moved from oil fire electrical power generation to gas fire generation.
