Over the past few days, Levi, the rescued harbor porpoise, has shown small signs of improvements.

He seems to be regaining strength very slowly, and is eating a little better, but still has a long way to go. Right now, our working diagnosis for his stranding is a pulmonary parasite, which we are treating. He has stopped vomiting, but his appetite is not where we'd want it to be. In short, he is still in critical condition and definitely not out of the woods yet. We're continuing to do tests as the reason for his initial stranding remains unclear.

We're keeping an eye on him 24-hours a day, thanks to a team of committed staff and volunteers.
