When students arrive at Yale SOM, each is assigned to a study group, with which he or she will navigate the first-year integrated MBA curriculum. The groups give students valuable training at working in teams. They learn to collaborate with colleagues from various professional and personal backgrounds, to see issues from multiple perspectives, and to evaluate strengths and weaknesses and assign tasks accordingly.
