loudlabs.com SOUTH LA - Police are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian before driving away. Police and paramedics were called to the corner of Figueroa Street and Slauson Avenue shortly after 4:00 AM. Paramedics arrived and found a man laying in the middle of the street. Witnesses, who did not want to speak on camera, say the driver of a dark Toyota sedan stopped, came out of the car before going back in and driving away. The suspect was last seen heading southbound on Figueroa. The victim appears to be suffering from minor injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital. Police have not confirmed any information yet.
