The federation called out the Gillnet Task Group, saying that gillnet users are jeopardizing the livelihoods of fishermen. Well, another organization, the Belize Fishermen Cooperative Association, has come out swinging saying that the federation cannot make such claims on behalf of fisherfolk. According to Sidney Fuller, the recent statements by the B.F.F. do not represent the concerns of the membership. Here’s more from the two representatives of the BFCA.
