CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The Homeless Coalition is trying to get a judge's ban on homeless camps in Hamilton County thrown out. Several camps set up in different areas in Downtown Cincinnati. Judge Robert Ruehlman prohibited them in the county, as long as there is shelter space available. City leaders said the camps can cause health, safety and sanitation issues. On Nov.21, the Homeless Coalition said there is not currently enough beds on a typical night. The group is asking a federal court for permission to amend a previously unsuccessful lawsuit to include this information.
