2700 Norwegian Jade Passengers Wait Days At San Juan Airport To Get Charter Flights Off Island  Three days after their cruise was cancelled and getting removed off of the Norwegian Jade cruise ship in San Juan many of the 2700 stranded passengers are still waiting for flights to get off the island.  With the busiest travel days of the year passengers had no chance to book a flight out of Puerto Rico and so were taken by bus to the San Juan Convention center where ater waiting up to 12 hours, were then bussed to the International Airport where they were told charter flights would fly them to Miami.  Many of the elderly passengers were unable to carry their own luggage and so fellow passengers lent a hand as there were no representatives from Norwegian available to assist them.  At the airport long lines formed as delays began to occur after one of the jets chartered for the mission had a mechanical breakdown in San Juan.  As of Friday, 3 days after disembarking the ship there were still people waiting at the airport to get out. #norwegian #norwegianjade #sanjuan
