Two Children Rushed to Hospital in Accident

A 3-year-old child has died and his brother is in critical condition following an accident of some sort in Bradley County Thursday afternoon. Based on the mother's call to 911, it was initially thought to be a possible drowning, but Stan Clark with Braldey County EMS now says they are not sure exactly what happened.Bradley County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Bob Gault said the call came in about 2:45 from Armstrong Road. When emergency crews arrived they found a 3-year-old boy and a 5-year-old boy, both unresponsive. The 5-year-old was flown by LifeForce helicopter to Erlanger Medical Center. The 3-year-old was taken by ambulance to Skyridge Medical Center in Cleveland where he has been pronounced dead.Gault said the incident actually happened about a mile away on Keith Valley Road at the home of the boys' grandparents. The mother drove to Armstrong Rd. to call 911. We'll have more on the story as it becomes available.
