The South Sudanese government is on a campaign to promote the recently signed peace deal. Vice President, James Wani Igga, has visited 40,000 internally displaced people. They are living in a United Nations compound on the outskirts of the capital, Juba. Three Western governments, serving as guarantors of the revitalised peace process, have applauded the progress the country has made since the agreement was signed in September. The government is capitalising on this support to reach out to displaced citizens.
