A spayed poodle has flank hair loss

Sunday 22 April 2018. Poodle came in for annual vaccination. The flank on both sides have no hair. Bilateral symmetrical alopecia may be due to trauma, hormonal imbalance, ear infection, anal sacculitis and other reasons. Owner did not want hormonal treatment. Sometimes, two of a kind casss come to Toa Payoh Vets. A strange coincidence of double cases. I had another poodle with flank alopecia. The owner said it was the other male humping him daily, leading to flank hair loss. The other poodle had normal hairs on the flank. These 2 male poodles are not neutered.
