Attorney general Paul Kihara has granted Queen's Counsel Khawar Qureshi a practicing certificate that technically gives him authority to prosecute the graft case against by deputy chief justice Philomena Mwilu. The authority however restricts his practice the graft case facing Mwilu. The deputy chief justice defense team had raised objections to the foreign prosecutor’s involvement in the case.
