In this video, I’m incorporating band resisted deadlifts into my training to boost explosive power and improve deadlift lockout strength. By adding resistance bands to the barbell, we create variable resistance, which increases the difficulty at the top of the lift while enhancing muscle activation throughout the entire range of motion.

Band resisted deadlifts are a fantastic way to increase the power output and develop better technique, especially for lifters working on their speed and strength at the lockout phase of the deadlift. I'll show you how to properly set up the bands, what to focus on during the lift, and how this variation can benefit your overall deadlift performance.

If you’re looking for a new challenge in your deadlift routine, give band resisted deadlifts a try! Make sure to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell for more strength training tips and workout routines.
