Texas Children’s Heart Center’s animation videos are designed to help children with heart problems better understand their diagnosis and potential treatment options. The one-of-a-kind videos are a resource to improve the health literacy of children and their parents who are treated at Texas Children’s and beyond. The videos were created by a team led by Dr. Daniel J. Penny, chief of cardiology at Texas Children’s, and are funded through a generous grant from ExxonMobil.
