Commissioner for Rural Economy and Agriculture at the African Union Josefa Sacko is urging African states to increase funding to the agriculture sector. She says by implementing both the Maputo Declaration of 2003 and the Malabo Declaration of 2014 African countries will be a step towards realizing sustainable growth in the agriculture sector and the realization of food security.
