Women have been urged to be pro-active in their push to actualize favorable representation in leadership positions. Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka says even as relevant institutions grapple with the two thirds gender rule question, it is the prerogative of women to face off with men competitively in search of elective positions instead of only relying on special and nomination positions to balance the equation .
