Taita-Taveta residents condemn delays in settling compensation claims

Residents of Jipe area in Taita-Taveta county have decried what they say is delays in settling compensation claims resulting from human-wildlife conflict. The recent construction of an electric fence around Tsavo West National park 5 months ago has served to reduce instances of conflict, but the residents claims that cases lodged several years ago are yet to be settled.
