a short documentation of the making of 5 fire steels..hand rasped , hand sanded,,I call then Flintstone...as if Fred made them with a rough hewn pebble look..they fit in your hand great..my hand isn't perfectly cylindrical so I didn't use wood turning to achieve my profiling, just a half round rasp...took ages though!!!
