Check out my new electric guitar tutorial on how to play the introduction/main riff from ‘Don't Fear The Reaper’ by Blue Öyster Cult.  This was requested by Mal Faughnan.  This tutorial goes out to you.

This is an absolute must for all rock guitarists.  It's not too demanding but at full speed (140BPM) it can feel pretty fast.  Make sure you work through it slowly (with a metronome!) and that you are consistent with both your fretting hand and picking. 

I recommend picking the strings with three down picks and then an up pick at the end to move the hand back to the bass note of the next chord shape.
