Government shuts 8 unregistered technical institutions

Eight unregistered technical institutions operating in the country have been closed down in the ongoing crackdown by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority. Two out of the five administrators found operating within the premises resisted being arrested forcing central police officers to climb past the reception desk, to apprehend them. The five will be charged for running unregistered colleges.
