Police Marine Unit says it is ill equipped to respond to maritime disasters

The head of the police marine unit, Eng James Apora has appealed for more support to be able to quickly respond whenever there is a crisis on Uganda’ maritime bodies.

Responding to last Saturday’s boat accident on Lake Victoria, Apora said, just now, they are inadequately equipped to respond to a disaster.
