EQUIPMENT
Tubular space frame with aluminium honeycomb cockpit, aluminium panels, cycle wings, detachable doors, heated windscreen, fresh air heater, full instrumentation, Tillet cloth seats, Luke Racing Systems four point harnesses, brake warning system, FIA roll bar with diagonal,  Momo quick release steering wheel, dash mounted cut off switch, battery cut off, locking fuel cap, rear fog and reversing lamps.

EXTERIOR
Finished in Gulf Oils Blue and Caterham Black, the racing pedigree of this exhilarating vehicle is obvious.  The paintwork whilst having a bright lustrous shine does have numerous very minor track earned scuffs and imperfections which simply evidence the fact that this car has been used and enjoyed as intended!  All panels are intact and the underside is free from any damage or structural deterioration.  The rear cycle wings are immaculate and only minute crazing prevent the same being said of the front cycle wings.  The trademark '7' grille and large headlamps are perfectly intact and the correct yellow and green Caterham badge on the nose cone completes the unmistakable face of this race bred track contender.

INTERIOR
Everything you need and nothing you don't!  As you lower yourself into the snug cockpit, the battery cut off and dash mounted isolation switch emphasise just what this car is about.  Further cemented as you push on the Momo quick release steering wheel and secure yourself in the four point harness, everything about this car is designed to extract the racer in you.  The interior fixtures and fittings are exactly as Caterham intended, and all dashboard functions operate perfectly and gauges show healthy readings.  The full windscreen, side impact bar and FIA roll bar with diagonal brace ensure the highest safety standards.  Pure excitement.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the brilliant 1.6 litre 16v Rover K-Series engine with double overhead cam, a remarkable 115bhp is explosive in such a lightweight vehicle.  A triple pass radiator and silicone coolant hoses are a welcome upgrade.  A top speed of 112mph is achievable and 0-60 is dealt with in just 6.2 seconds.  Uprated Caterham springs and dampers and a quick steering rack help to best exploit the power on offer.  The close ratio 5-speed gearbox with final drive ratio of 3:92:1 is light, exact and a joy to use.  This fantastic example is the embodiment of Caterham's precision engineering and world-renowned expertise. 

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original aluminium wheels are shod in factory correct Avon CR500 175/55/R13 road tyres with ample tread remaining.  The wheels are in excellent condition and completely from damage except for one minor scuff to the rear nearside wheel.  A low level warning system compliments the twin circuit split front and rear discs brakes which provide amazing stopping power to install the upmost confidence under enthusiastic use!

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 29 January 2004, this example has had just three owners who have personally maintained and enjoyed the car just as Caterham intended throughout the mere 14,205 miles covered.  The original owner's service and handbook and sales and specification brochures are present.  Some previous MOT's and a recent invoice for £667 along with an Approved Used Car Check Certificate are also present.  Now ready for the next owner to appreciate the thrill and excitement of Caterham's best work!
