Mother speaks on behalf of 19-year-old bank robbery suspect

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A judge ordered a 19-year-old bank robbery suspect held on $100,000 bond. Dewayne Cody was arraigned on a robbery charge on June 27.

Police say it was Cody who held up the MainSource Bank on Madison Road not far from Grandin Road on May 24. He's accused of handing a teller a note demanding cash.

Police released surveillance pictures but no word if that's how police identified him. 

According to the assistant prosecutor Cody confessed to the robbery. His mother spoke briefly in court. "He doesn't get in trouble, he doesn't have a record."
