Remember Miami — the tiny kitten I found after hearing what sounded like a baby crying near a dumpster? Well, here's an update! 🐱❤️

A lot of people have been asking me how Miami is doing, so today I'm taking you along as Miami heads outside to the park with Florida.

And yes... Miami goes for walks with us!

When I first brought her home, Miami seemed nervous and uncomfortable about being confined. After what she'd been through, I wanted to give her time to get comfortable with her new home and surroundings.

Now she's exploring, playing and becoming part of our everyday routine.

She's even coming out to the park with Florida regularly.

Florida continues to be incredibly gentle with Miami. They roughhouse and chase each other occasionally, but they've developed a pretty amazing friendship.

The funny thing is that I'm learning all of this as I go.

Miami is my first cat, and Florida is my first dog, so I'm definitely not claiming to be a cat-training expert! I'm simply sharing what I've been doing and how Miami has been progressing.

And judging by her fascination with that tree, Miami definitely hasn't forgotten that she's a cat. 😂

From being discovered near a dumpster to exploring the park with her new best friend...

Miami is doing fantastic. ❤️
