I Traded My Corvette for a Chrysler 300C HEMI — Was It Worth It?

I traded my 1996 Corvette for a 2010 Chrysler 300C AWD with the 5.7L HEMI V8 — and after living with the Chrysler for a few weeks, here's what I think.

We're expanding the family, so I needed something bigger and more practical than a two-seat Corvette.

But I still wanted something I could actually enjoy driving.

That's where the 300C HEMI AWD came in.

After roughly three weeks and about 300 kilometres behind the wheel, I'm impressed.

The handling feels great, the interior is comfortable and well laid out, there's plenty of room for the family, and the trunk gives us the cargo space we'll need for some serious road trips.

And underneath the hood there's still a 5.7L HEMI V8.

So although I definitely miss my Corvette, moving into the Chrysler 300C doesn't feel like I've completely given up having a fun car just because we're starting a family.

So far?
