Welcome back to the MrExcel netcast! In this episode, we're going to tackle a common issue when working with large amounts of data - how to analyze it efficiently. Now, let's get back to our topic for today - rounding with the NOW() function. As many of you may know, the NOW() function is a handy tool for tracking deadlines. It automatically displays the current date and time, making it easy to calculate the number of days until a specific event. However, the time portion may not always be necessary, and it can cause issues when rounding. That's where the TODAY() function comes in.

TODAY() is very similar to NOW(), except it only displays the current date without the time. This makes it perfect for calculating days until a deadline, as it won't change until the next day. So instead of using the NOW() function, consider using TODAY() for more accurate results. And if you want to get rid of the decimals, simply use the Format Cells option to remove the time portion.
