The government has prioritized modernization of the current broadband infrastructure as well as lobbying internet service providers to enhance access, uptake and affordability. According to Broadcasting Principal Secretary Sammy Itemere, however cultural and gender discrimination is dragging the general uptake of technology something which has seen women-led enterprises leveraging on technology fail to live up to their billing.
