Civil servants  should brace themselves for tighter economic belts as the government proposes a raft  of austerity measures to reduce government expenditure and cushion ordinary Kenyans from the rising cost of living. Addressing the nation from State House in Nairobi President Uhuru Kenyatta proposed budget cuts across all arms of government and channeling of more resources to the Judiciary, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission and the office of the Director of Public Prosecution to sustain the fight against graft.
