The National Assembly has unanimously approved the nomination of Twalib Mbarak as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission. Mbarak will now replace Halakhe Waqo who has served at the anti-graft agency for six years. The lawmakers however chided EACC of not doing enough to slay the ghost of corruption.
